Healthy Chocolate Bliss Balls

Yes I named these Chocolate Bliss Balls and it’s okay if you want to call me out on my nonsense. These are ladoos which we Indians have been making for only a dozen centuries. But the undeniable fact is that these have chocolate and I don’t know a lot of healthy chocolate ladoos! These are made without any added sugar(of any kind),any oil or fat and has no grain in it.Like Really! I am obviously very late to the bliss ball party but you don’t have to be! The original recipe is from chocolate covered Kate blog and I can’t tell you how amazing her blog is! It’s full of unbelievable healthy treats which I swear I can’t stop making!  If you …

Grilled Eggplant Salad

If you have been following me on instagram you would know that I have started a new food regime. I am going to take this a week at a time by following the paleo diet during the weekdays and maybe go a little crazy during the weekends. It would be the best if I could do the proper whole30 like last year again but it will be impossible with a baby. I can’t be too rigid with my food choices at the moment because one, I am providing nourishment to another human being and two ,taking care of that human being doesn’t let me have a schedule.Oh and there is a three..On days when he is cranky i can’t even …

Peanut Butter Chocochip Oat Squares

peanut butter & chocolate oat bars

My habit of throwing random things together and cooking as resulted in another amazing recipe. It’s relatively healthy and totally refined ingredients free.I can’t say it’s diabetic friendly though it doesn’t contain any refined sugar or refined flour but the dates are pretty heavy on sugar so it should be consumed in moderation. These oat bars are definitely healthier than store bought protein bars and biscuits. It’s toddler and kid friendly and best of all it stores well.I carried these with me while travelling alone with baby and these were very handy. You definitely need a strong blender for this recipe. On another note I am trying to make sourdough bread.Today is the day 3 of my starter and it’s already bubbling.I am …

Skinny Mac and Cheese

Butternut Pumpkin Mac and Cheese

Mac and cheese is a comfort food that has transcended not only borders but also oceans! While parathas and capsicum potato curry remain my ultimate comfort food , pasta in a creamy sauce is my elixir when I am looking to curl up in a corner with a book. I love a simple pasta with just butter and some bacon..but if I have a hankering for something cheesy nothing warms my heart more than a mushy warm creamy bowl of mac and cheese. My only complaint with mac and cheese is that it is too heavy and high on calorie for its own good. So, I have come up with a skinny Mac and Cheese recipe, which lets you indulge …
